Mapes is a city fremen woman. She works at the palace in Carthag.

She is old, with short black hair, and has a hard look to her. Her skin and eyes could be mistaken to be those of a desert Fremen, but not to one of the bled. The eyes are as blue as they are, and the skin as leathery as it is, due to age. A real Fremen would look like that at half her age.

Mapes has worked with and helped desert Fremen before (season 2). She is considered trustworthy.
