How to change a server nickname on Discord
Note that the instructions here will only change your nickname on one server. Your usual name will be displayed everywhere else.

Desktop and Web
Click on the server in the left bar to open the server.
Click on the server name at the top left of the screen and select Edit Server Profile.
Enter the new nickname under SERVER NICKNAME, then click the Save Changes button.
Mobile
Tap on the server in the left bar to open the server.
Tap on the server name at the top of the screen and select Edit Server Profile.
Enter the new nickname under SERVER NICKNAME, then tap SAVE at the top of the screen.
Tap the X at the top left of the screen to close the server profile page.
